The Slow Cook Matters

“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58

One of the hardest parts of doing the right thing is not knowing if it’s making any difference. Stand firm. Don’t get pulled off your assignment.

Remember, nothing you do for the Lord is wasted. Much of what we do will never be noticed or acknowledged.

The prayers you pray.The integrity you keep.The way you love your spouse and your family.The way you show up when nobody claps — and then show up again and again.

God sees all of it.

Stand firm. Don’t get pulled off your assignment. Don’t abandon your station just because the heat is on. It isn’t finished yet, and what God is doing in and through your life will be worth it.

Your labor in the Lord is producing something far greater than you can see.
