Stay Ready

Updated: Feb 17

January 26, 2026

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” — 2 Timothy 4:2

This verse is a call to live ready — not only when it’s easy, but when it matters. We’re invited to stay steady in every season: when it’s convenient and when it’s not, when we feel strong and when we feel stretched, when culture agrees and when it pushes back.

God didn’t call us to be silent observers of the world. He called us to be steady voices of truth, love, and courage. That begins in our homes, flows into our friendships, and shows up in how we lead, serve, and speak.

Notice the balance: correct, rebuke, encourage — all wrapped in patience and careful instruction. Truth without love becomes harsh. Love without truth becomes hollow. A faithful life learns to carry both.

Try This Today:

Show up intentionally somewhere today — a conversation, a gathering, or a moment you’d normally avoid — and be fully present instead of distracted.

Standing with you,

around the table,

Chef Bob
