Trust the Slow Cook

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” — Romans 8:28

This verse doesn’t say all things are good.

It says God works all things for good.

The win and the loss.

The open door and the slammed one.

The answered prayer — and the one that isn’t… yet.

We see moments.

God sees the whole story.

Some things right now may not feel good, look good, or make sense. But God is never scrambling. What feels like a setback may be the very tool He’s using to shape your life or redirect your path.

God doesn’t waste pain.

He doesn’t waste seasons.

He doesn’t waste faithful people.

Instead of asking, “Why is this happening?”

Ask, “Lord, how are You working through this?”

Faith says: I don’t see the good yet… but I trust the God who promised it.

Try This Today:

Take the situation stressing you most and place it intentionally in God’s hands in prayer. Tell Him you trust the outcome, even if you don’t understand the process.

Standing with you,

around the table,

Chef Bob
