“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” — Hebrews 12:11
Nobody enjoys discipline in the moment.
Correction stings.
Growth stretches.
But pain with purpose produces fruit.
God is not punishing you — He is training you.
A good Father disciplines because He loves.
He sees what you can become and refuses to leave you where you are.
Weights in the gym don’t feel good while you’re lifting them.
But over time, they build strength.
In the same way, the pressure you’re under right now may be the very thing shaping your character.
Discipline today.
Peace tomorrow.
Stay teachable.
Stay humble.
Stay under the hand of God.
Try This Today:
Instead of resisting the pressure, thank God for one hard thing in your life
— and ask what He is shaping in you through it.
Standing with you,
around the table,
Chef Bob
