“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16
Paul writes to the church in Corinth to remind them that our bodies get tired, worn out, and eventually fail.
We get tired.
Bodies wear down.
Motivation fades.
Many people think strength means pushing harder.
Scripture says strength comes from being renewed.
God didn’t design us to run on yesterday’s fuel.
Faith is sustained through hearing the Word of God — not occasionally, but consistently. When God’s truth fills your mind, it steadies your heart.
Real strength is daily renewal.
Try This Today:
Spend 5–10 minutes hearing Scripture — read it out loud or listen to it — and let God reset your perspective before the day carries you away.
Standing with you,
around the table,
Chef Bob
